Antique French oak can carry weathered faces, adze marks, plane lines, old saw marks, checking, softened edges, and mature grain. We coordinate original-face or re-sawn material as wide plank, engineered flooring, chevron, herringbone, Versailles panels, stairs, cladding, beams, mantels, and matching architectural details. Lead times vary by lot and specification.
The historic exposed surface is retained where suitable. Expect genuine wear, patina, checking, and irregularity.
Fresh wear layers cut from old timber, revealing cleaner antique grain without a weathered face.
Species and source claims are used only when documentation supports them for the selected material. The product is evaluated by heartwood content, growth-ring density, grain orientation, surface, stability, condition, dimensions, and intended construction. Lead times vary by lot and specification.
Select plainsawn, clear vertical grain, rift, quartered, and project-specific matching.
Original face, re-sawn, smooth, textured, patinated, or prepared for custom finish.
Reclaimed building stock or river-recovered heart pine, confirmed by chain-of-custody documentation for the specific lot.
Solid or engineered flooring, stairs, beams, mantels, paneling, doors, profiles.
Select, character, rift, and quartered white oak developed for restrained modern rooms or detailed traditional interiors. Flooring coordinated with stairs, flush vents, cabinetry stock, doors, beams, wall paneling, and ceiling cladding. Lead times vary by grade and specification.
Straight grain with reduced cathedral figure; end-grain angle and mill grading rules control designation.
Linear grain from near-radial orientation. Ray fleck can be prominent; figure alone does not certify cut.
Knots, mineral streaks, and color movement graded so variation feels intentional.
We source from established mills and reclamation specialists in France, Florida, Virginia, and Kentucky. Each lot is evaluated and documented — source, species, age basis, grading, moisture, and source documentation. Provenance records are provided for the specific material specified for your project.
Sourced direct from reclamation specialists in France. Original-face boards, re-milled chevron, Versailles panels, beams, and stair stock with lot-specific documentation.
Sourced from established manufacturers in Florida and Virginia. Building-reclaimed and river-recovered options qualified by lot. River-recovered availability is confirmed by chain-of-custody documentation before specification. Source claims supported by mill certificates, reclamation site records, or chain-of-custody records where applicable.
Rift and quartered stock from Kentucky and Ohio sawmills. Domestic sourcing with grade, width-sort, and moisture documentation for flooring and millwork packages.
Pattern, angle, dimensions, borders, transitions, and layout sequence are developed together. Patterns can be developed in species and finishes to match your project.
Custom angle, width, length, thickness. Cut, bundled, labeled by room.
Panel geometry, border scale, species mix coordinated around the room.
Square-ended blocks interlocked at right angles. Available in species to match your project.
Repeat logic, yield planning, balanced room layout. Widths available upon request.
Perimeter scale, thresholds, insets, transitions coordinated with field pattern.
Custom focal elements coordinated with field and border design.
We coordinate the species, grain direction, profile, finish, documentation, fabrication, packaging, and delivery of a complete wood package — including cabinetry, stairs, doors, beams, mantels, wall paneling, ceiling cladding, mouldings, trim, and built-ins.
Inset and full-overlay kitchens, sculleries, bars, libraries, dressing rooms, and built-ins. Construction type identified by approved shop drawings.
Treads, landings, nosings, skirts, newels, rails, and floor-to-stair transitions coordinated with the flooring package.
Doors, beams, mantels, wall paneling, ceiling cladding, mouldings, trim packages, exterior millwork, and custom profiles.
Species, grade, cut, panel layout, profiles, hardware preparation, finish, and matching room components.
Field information requirements, elevations, sections, details, sample approvals, fabrication coordination.
Protected packaging, room or elevation labels, packing lists, finish references, coordinated shipment.
Reclaimed material is centuries old. The grain, color, wear patterns, oils, and previous use all vary from lot to lot. That is why we do not work from a fixed catalog. We source the right material for your project, qualify it, and fabricate to your specification. One lot, one project, one coordinate point from sourcing through delivery.
